At ALPIS, we specialize in selling avalanche gear and specialty for bicycles. You'll find our largest selection of avalanche backpacks and kits, but over time, we've also added other proven winter and summer products to our shop. Essential equipment for skiing / snowboarding / skialp / skitour is avalanche backpack, transciever, probe and shovel. In Italy, as of 1.3.2009, you can be fined up to 250€ if you go off-piste without this basic equipment.
Manufacturers of avalanche equipment are: Pieps, Mammut, BCA (Back Country Access), ABS, Ortovox, Black Diamond and ARVA. At Alpis you will find products from all of these brands.
