Ortovox Focus Pro is designed for mountain guides, rescuers, instructors and experienced ski tourers who need a clear overview during complex rescue operations. It combines voice navigation and Smart Antenna Technology with professional features such as analog mode, manual search range reduction and the ability to select individual signals in multiple burial scenarios.

During a search, Focus Pro continuously displays the distance to the four nearest transmitters. Users can scroll between detected signals and mark located victims. For more complex rescues, it also offers Deep Burial Marking and the option to manually reduce the search strip width to 3 or 20 m.

More control in complex searches

The analog audio output lets experienced users listen to the received signal without digital filtering. This helps them assess situations where signals overlap or interference complicates the search. The device provides stable directional guidance from the first signal reception, followed by visual and audio support during fine search.

Technology for demanding conditions

Patented Smart Antenna Technology selects the more effective transmitting antenna based on the device’s position in the avalanche debris. Focus Pro also adapts to electronic interference in both search and transmit modes. In the event of a secondary avalanche, the device can automatically return from Search or Standby to transmit mode after two minutes without movement.

The large graphic MIP display remains easy to read in varying light conditions. Prominent buttons and switches make the device easier to operate while wearing gloves. The rechargeable lithium-ion battery charges via USB-C, while the Ortovox app provides software updates and device settings.

Ortovox Probe Alu 280 Avalanche Probe

The lightweight and sturdy Ortovox Probe Alu 280 is designed for probing in deeper snow. Made from durable 7075 T6 aluminum alloy, its 12.7 mm diameter provides stability during use. The PFA quick-assembly system allows the probe to be deployed in one smooth motion. Visual markings, including a 1.5 m depth marker, help users assess depth while probing.

Ortovox Shovel Pro Guide Avalanche Shovel

Ortovox Shovel Pro Guide is an avalanche shovel designed for longer tours and professional use. It combines a large blade with a telescopic shaft and a compact T-grip that can be adjusted for right- or left-handed use. The Quick Locksystem makes it easy to connect the shaft to the hardened, anodized aluminum blade. The blade’s sharp edge is useful in hard snow, including when digging snow profiles or carrying out avalanche stability tests.
