Ortovox Focus Pro is designed for mountain guides, rescue teams and experienced ski tourers who need a clear overview of detected signals during an avalanche rescue. It combines an 80 m effective search strip width, measured according to the ICAR method, with voice navigation and advanced features for multiple burial scenarios.

A clear overview of multiple signals

Focus Pro continuously displays the distance to the four nearest transmitters. You can scroll between detected signals and mark located victims. For complex searches, it also offers deep burial marking and the option to manually reduce the search strip width to 3 or 20 m.

More control in demanding searches

The analog audio output lets experienced users listen to the unfiltered signal. This can help when signals overlap or interference makes a search more difficult. Focus Pro provides stable directional guidance from the first signal reception, followed by visual and audio support during fine searching.

Technology built for the field

Patented Smart Antenna Technology selects the more effective transmitting antenna based on the device’s position in the snow. Interference protection works in both search and transmit modes. In the event of a secondary avalanche, the transceiver can automatically switch from Search or Standby back to transmit mode after two minutes without movement.

The large graphic MIP display is easy to read in a range of light conditions, while prominent buttons and switches can be operated with gloves. The rechargeable lithium-ion battery charges via USB-C. Software updates and device settings are available through the Ortovox app.

Product registration can extend the warranty to a total of five years from the date of purchase.
