The Ortovox Alpine Traverse Pure 28S hiking backpack features a padded back system and shoulder straps with an efficient ventilation design. The shoulder straps remain comfortable even when carrying heavier loads while allowing air to circulate. In bad weather, the practical integrated rain cover can be used to provide additional protection for the backpack.

The backpack is made from a robust, water-resistant material consisting of 72% recycled polyamide and dyed using the environmentally friendly solution-dyed process, helping to reduce its environmental impact.

Practical elastic pockets provide additional storage space. The front pocket also features zippered side gussets. When opened, the pocket expands to provide enough space to carry a climbing helmet.

Well-organized interior:

• A camera or mobile phone can be stored in the hip belt pocket.

• The front stretch pocket is ideal for a jacket or other equipment. Zippers and expandable gussets on the sides allow the pocket to be enlarged enough to securely carry a climbing helmet.

Comfortable back system:

The COMFORT CONTACT BACK SYSTEM consists of five padded contact zones with spaces between them to promote better air circulation. The back system distributes the load evenly between the shoulders and hips. For maximum stability, the backpack is equipped with both a hip belt and a chest strap. The chest strap also features an integrated emergency whistle.

The “S” version of the backpack is designed for people with a back length of 36–44 cm. Back length is measured from the 7th cervical vertebra to the top of the pelvis. The “S” version differs not only in back length but also in the shape of the shoulder straps and the design of the hip belt. These adjustments provide a better fit and help the backpack sit more securely and comfortably on the back.
