The Ortovox Downwool 180 Vest W is a lightweight women's insulated vest designed for year-round use in the mountains. Its innovative DownWool® by Grüezi bag® insulation combines the excellent thermal performance of down with the moisture-regulating properties of wool, providing reliable warmth and a comfortable body climate even during demanding activities and in humid conditions.

The insulation consists of 70% RDS-certified duck down and 30% Alpine wool. Wool absorbs moisture and helps the down maintain its loft, supporting consistent thermal performance. The outer fabric, made from 100% recycled polyamide, is windproof and water-repellent, offering additional protection against changing mountain weather.

Thanks to its lightweight construction and compact pack size, the vest can be worn as an outer layer or as an insulating midlayer under a shell jacket. It is an ideal choice for ski touring, hiking, mountaineering and other outdoor activities.
