The Armada Shift² 13 MN is the updated version of the iconic hybrid binding that revolutionized the touring category. It allows you to climb using tech pins and descend with the full stability of an alpine binding. The 2027 model introduces several structural upgrades for better durability, power transfer, and reliability.
Enhanced Toe Unit
The toe piece features stronger aluminum side wings, a reinforced lever, and improved steel pins for better retention and long‑term durability. The polyamide housing is strengthened with fiberglass to reduce flex and increase precision.
New AFD Power Block
The redesigned Anti‑Friction Device uses an aluminum block combined with composite materials to improve torsional rigidity and ensure consistent release values. Micro‑adjustment allows fine tuning for different boot sole norms.
Improved Brake Mechanism
The updated brake system prevents accidental deployment during touring — a known issue in the first generation Shift.
