The FREE RIDER 28L backpack is designed for skiers and snowboarders, suitable for all types of terrain.

A NEW FEATURE OF THE 2026 COLLECTION is the top closure method of the backpack – the so-called ROLLTOP ACCESS instead of a zipper, which allows effective volume expansion depending on use. The 'regular' size is suitable for people with a medium back length of 42–50 cm – approximately for a height of 170 to 195 cm.The backpack has the option to insert a certified Clasp Spine Protector.You can attach everything you need for extreme freeride runs, including skis/SNB, snowshoes, helmet, rope, and 2 ice axes. The Free Rider features the Clasp Flex Belt tightening system, which can be fastened in one motion.The backpack has no unnecessary straps that you might catch on a ride through the forest.

The backpack consists of:

- You can access the main compartment through the back. Simply place the backpack face down in the snow and open it like a suitcase – everything is clearly visible. Here you will find an additional compartment for a reservoir and an outlet for a hose that runs through the shoulder strap. The compartment is spacious enough for the gear you need to keep dry. You can also access the main compartment via the convenient top Roll Top opening.

- The second compartment is for avalanche gear. There are pockets for avalanche equipment – shovel blade, shovel handle, and probe. Wet gear is thus kept separate from the rest of your belongings. The compartment intentionally has orange zipper pulls so it can be immediately seen in an emergency. You will also find a small pocket for an Emergency Card.

- The third compartment/pocket is suitable for storing "active gear" - gloves, hat, balaclava, glasses, and more. The gear is easily accessible, and you don't have to open the entire backpack.

- At the bottom of the backpack, there is an option to attach a helmet with a net.
