The very light men's vest ORTOVOX PIZ BOE VEST M is suitable for demanding activities such as ski mountaineering, ski touring and alpine hiking. The SWISSWOOL® wool insulation insulates heat even when wet and has excellent thermoregulation properties. The durable Pertex® Quantum outer material with ripstop weave repels water and is windproof. Thanks to the stretch panels made of MERINO NATURTEC LIGHT material, it adapts even during dynamic movements. This is a technically sophisticated piece of clothing that will keep your body warm and comfortable during any sports activity in the mountains.

Zoned construction

 Comfort and freedom of movement are supported by MERINO NATURTEC LIGHT stretch panels located under the armpits and on the back of the shoulders. The inside of the panels is brushed Merino wool for better moisture absorption and comfort. You will often wear a backpack, so the shoulder seams are moved lower to prevent damage and make it comfortable to wear. Two spacious chest pockets are placed higher for comfortable access even through the backpack's hip belt. The pockets can also be used for ventilation, as they are lined with mesh.

MERINO NATURTEC LIGHT is a membrane-free softshell material from the Swiss company Schoeller®, which is extremely breathable and at the same time provides sufficient protection against wind, water and dirt. The wool on the inside is directly woven into the outer material, which ensures even higher comfort, insulation and excellent temperature and humidity regulation.

 Treated with a water-repellent DWR treatment without PFC content.

PERTEX® QUANTUM is a tightly woven material made from recycled polyamide that is windproof and highly breathable. It is treated with a PFC-free DWR water-repellent finish. It is resistant to abrasion and tearing. Despite being soft and supple to the touch, it has achieved up to 50,000 cycles in the abrasion test (Martindale test). It is very light, breathable and comfortable to wear.
