The loose and comfortable fit ensures easy wearing of multiple base layers or a back protector. The outer material made from 100% recycled polyamide is tear and wind-resistant, while the 90 g/m2 innovative METAWOOL insulation keeps you warm even on the coldest powder days. This functional insulation jacket offers a great insulation-to-weight ratio, and its good compressibility ensures that you can easily pack it without taking up much space in your backpack.

The ORTOVOX RAVINE METAWOOL 90 JACKET M can be worn as a mid-layer under a hardshell or as a standalone outer layer. Thanks to its modern design, you won't want to take it off even when you head to the après-ski bar in the evening or go for a walk in the city. In the interest of sustainability, the jacket is produced in Europe using a climate-neutral process. All this, along with the METAWOOL insulation, makes it an absolute must-have for freeriding on cold days.

METAWOOL is an innovative insulation made of 80% German merino wool and 20% polylactic acid (a biodegradable polymer that is largely produced from renewable sources such as sugar cane or starch). This innovative combination of materials gives the insulation a great ratio of thermal insulation to weight. Additionally, it is compressible, making it easy to pack into any backpack.
