The Petzl Gully Hammer is an ultra-light ice axe designed for skiing in extreme conditions, technical mountaineering, or ski touring. With a length of only 45 cm, it can even be stored inside a backpack.
The Petzl Gully Hammer has an aluminum shaft and a steel head. Thanks to its tapered 3mm pick, it can penetrate hard snow, and the curved handle with a knob at the end is convenient for steep ascents. On the opposite side of the head, the ice axe features a hammer.
It has a textured handle for a safer grip and an adjustable hand/trigger rest TRIGREST, which allows you to quickly convert the axe for climbing without tools. It is compatible with the LINKIN or FREELOCK leash and the Pick and Spike protector.The beveled tip allows the axe to be carried in a backpack without causing damage.
