The ORTOVOX AVABAG LiTRIC FREERIDE 28 is designed for skiers and snowboarders who want an avalanche backpack even for the most demanding descents. LiTRIC combines the advantages of both electronic and mechanical systems. It allows multiple inflations on a single charge while being comparable in weight to the lightest mechanical rescue systems (cartridge-based systems).

The backpack has the option to insert the certified Clasp Spine Protector. You can attach everything you need for extreme freeride descents, including 2 ice axes and a helmet. It is a highly durable and comfortable backpack that will fit you perfectly, even at high speeds. Thanks to the tightening system and wide hip belt, the backpack becomes part of you, snugly fitting your back.

The weight of the ORTOVOX AVABAG LiTRIC FREERIDE 28 backpack is only 2590 g, including the system. The backpack has a wide, easily adjustable hip belt, wide and comfortable shoulder straps that better distribute the backpack's weight across your shoulders, back, and hips. The back system consists of memory foam padding in 6 zones. The entire back contact area is additionally covered with practical softshell, which improves adherence and also prevents snow from sticking.

• You can access the main compartment through a double zipper on the front of the backpack. Here, you will find a pocket for a water reservoir and an outlet for a hose that leads to the shoulder strap. The compartment is light-colored so that you can see your gear even in low-light conditions.
• The second compartment serves as a safety avalanche pocket. Here are pockets for avalanche equipment – a shovel blade, shovel handle, and probe. Wet equipment is thus separated from the rest of the items. The pocket deliberately has prominent zipper pulls so it is immediately visible in case of an emergency.
• At the front, there is a small pocket for a map, compass, and other navigation equipment. This pocket also has a plastic carabiner for keys.

For greater safety, it is possible to insert a certified Clasp Spine Protector (with motorcycle certification) into the backpack, suitable for back height up to 200 cm. Weighing 200 g, it will not burden your back but will help protect it. The Triple Flex Elements technology ensures good flexibility of the protector, providing you with the necessary comfort. The protector is compatible with all variants of the updated Free Rider backpack series. You can easily insert it into the designated pocket, and your back is safe. The backpack is made from 100% recycled polyamide material with 400D durability and without using PFCs. This material excels in high resistance to abrasion and water.
