Practical backpack with 8 pockets where you have everything at hand. ORTOVOX SWITCHBACK 32l is characterized by its low weight and a number of technical alpine elements. Because of this, you will appreciate it even on really tough ski touring trips.

• side pocket for crampons and straps, you can take down the rope and skis without having to take off the backpack,

PACKING

The backpack has a main compartment and 7 additional pockets!

• A separate section for a shovel and probe. The equipment does not obstruct and won't wet your belongings, and is readily accessible when needed

• The top section for gloves, hat, sunglasses, and other accessories that you regularly take out and want to have on hand.

• The bottom section for straps or crampons – with an entry on the side of the backpack, you can access it without the need to take the backpack off your back.

• A hip pocket suitable for a phone, compact camera, GPS, or other active items that you want to have on hand for 'quick use'

• A pouch on the shoulder strap suitable for a 250 ml soft water bottle.

The backpack is made of lightweight and extremely durable 420D Cordura nylon fabric combined with extremely lightweight 100% recycled 100D nylon fabric. The backpack is completely free of PFC and is made from recycled nylon using climate-neutral processes.

The SWITCHBACK backpack additionally offers a new, quick method of attachment using Quick-Attach parallel fastening with a carabiner, allowing you to attach and detach skis without having to remove the backpack from your back.

Avalanches and safety

A large part of the backpack's design is tailored for simple and quick use in stressful situations. The prominent orange zipper pulls indicate the pocket for the avalanche probe and shovel. Inside, you will also find a picture with signals and contacts for communication in emergencies. The chest strap includes an emergency whistle.
