The PIEPS MINI IPS is a compact avalanche transceiver that brings advanced PIEPS technology into an easily portable format. With a search strip width of 50 meters and the Search Assist Plus function, a visual search aid with pictographic instructions, it intuitively guides users through the search process. The innovative Interference Protection System (IPS) minimizes interference in transmit mode, ensuring stable signal transmission. Thanks to PIEPS' leading signal processing quality, it provides an exceptionally clear, consistent, and reliable direction indication in critical situations.

COMPACT and LIGHTWEIGHT

Thanks to its compact design and low weight, it easily fits into any designated pocket without being bulky.

NEW – It is enhanced with an adjustable group check distance (1 m or 3 m), a shutdown reminder, and versatile training functions via the PIEPS app.

IPS – Interference Protection System A unique technology that suppresses signal interference from mobile phones and other metal objects in transmitting mode. Despite the new IPS system, Pieps still recommends carrying the mobile phone at least 20cm from the transceiver in transmitting mode and 50cm in searching mode.

Search Assist Plus A visual search aid with pictographic instructions – intuitively guides users through the search process.

Bluetooth – BT For connection to the Pieps app on your phone, optional software updates, or enabling/disabling various functions directly via your app.

Auto search to send – Auto revert. In the event of a secondary avalanche that buries the rescuer, the avalanche transceiver automatically switches back to transmitting mode, even if it remained in search mode. The transceiver switches via a motion sensor if movement ceases. You can enable or disable this function via the app.

GROUP CHECK PRO-MODE With this function, you can check older as well as newer avalanche transceivers to see if they meet the required deviation from 457kHz, and whether the signal transmission length and the pause length between transmission intervals are within the specified standard.

"Ghost" signal elimination Pieps' sophisticated signal verification shows you only the direction and distance to the buried person, eliminating interfering signals.

APP support The PIEPS app enables easy management of firmware updates and individual device settings. It also allows for an app-supported device check that thoroughly tests all functions, as well as the creation of training scenarios – for greater safety and practical relevance.
